Prawn spaghetti

Ingredients

Spaghetti

  • 500 g Spaghetti
  • Prawns
  • 10 Prawns, tail-on
  • 1 tbsp Cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil

Sauce

  • 250g Arla® LactoFREE Slightly Salted Spreadable
  • 2 cups Cooking cream
  • 1 cup Lemon juice
  • 1 Lemon, grated zest
  • 1 cup Arla® Pasta & Gratinar cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp Pepper

 

Instructions

Spaghetti

  1. Boil a large pot of water. Add salt and cook pasta according to package instructions.
  2. Drain the pasta, reserving ½ cup of the pasta water.

Sauce

  1. Heat butter in a pan and let it sizzle.
  2. Add cream and lemon juice and bring to a boil.
  3. Add Arla Pasta & Gratinar cheese, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.

Prawns

  1. Sprinkle prawns with cayenne pepper and salt. Marinate while you cook the pasta and make the sauce.
  2. When the sauce is done, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Sauté the prawns until cooked through, about 3–5 minutes.

 

Assembling

  1. Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce.
  2. Place pasta into plates and serve with prawn
