Ingredients (for 2 bagels)
- 1 cup (200g) Arla cottage cheese

- 1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Arla onion & chive cream cheese (for serving)

(Optional)
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp sea salt flakes
- 2 tsp poppy seeds
- 4 tsp sesame seeds
- 2 tsp onion flakes
- 2 tsp garlic granules
- 1 tsp black sesame seeds
Method
- In a bowl, mix the cottage cheese with the flour, baking powder, and salt. If you prefer a smoother texture, you can first blend the cottage cheese in a food processor.
- Mix well until a soft dough forms that sticks slightly to your hands. If it’s too sticky, add a little more flour.
- Divide the dough in half and shape into two balls. Make a hole in the center of each one to form the bagels.
- Optionally, brush with egg and sprinkle with “Everything but the Bagel” seasoning. Alternatively, you can use only sesame seeds or leave them plain.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 30 minutes.
- Serve with a generous amount of Arla Onion & Chive cream cheese for a delicious snack or breakfast.
